2018 Disneyworld, Florida Competition/Parade

Karilagan competed in the World Dance Competition held at ShowPlace in Escot, Disneyworld, Florida last June 26 to 29, 2018. There 3 dance entries were awarded all silver. They also danced in the Disneyworld Parade.

Karilagan's annual Christmas party was held last December 17, 2017 at Days Inn and Suites. Congratulations to Sarce and Kathy Romeo-Garcia for receiving their plaques of appreciation for being with us for the last 10 years. Karilagan also recognized the hard work of the teachers, students and the parents for keeping the Karilagan on the map. It was another great year.

Karilagan's 46th anniversary celebration was a tribute to Wilf "Boy" Ladores, held at Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre last March 25, 2017.

Karilagan held its Christmas party last December 3, 2016 at the Days Inn and Suite. The induction of the new set of officers was also held that evening. It also recognized 28 of its members who are celebrating their 10th year and one member who is on her 25th year with the group. It was a very successful event chaired by Sarah Allen.

Karilagan's Annual Christmas party - November 21, 2015 at the Golden rice Bowl

Karilagan held its annual Christmas party last November 21, 2015 at the Golden Rice Bowl. This successful event was chaired by Rosie Gonzales.

Newly appointed officers had their oath taking that evening. Congratulations to Brenda Hamans, new Secretary and Lisa Indradat, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer.

The celebration recognized the KDS families who reached their 10 years membership namely: Sarah and Josie Allen, Rey Carrasca, James, Ramon and Gloria Cala, Jay, Tina, Grace and Alex Ermube, Charlaine, Charmaine, Amy and Carlos Martinez, Rian and Radley Valdez.

KDS also recognized the members who gave most time in volunteerism for the success of the group namely: Ryan and Ronalyn de Mesa, Sherrylyyn Valmonte, Ilyja and Angel Pecson, Raiden and Rory Hagglund, Meteah and Mika Indradat. Special thanks to all these recipients and most especially to the Malbog-Tan family as well as the Pecson, Hagglund, Calapre and Indradat families for their dedications.

A surprise visit from Santa made that evening a joyful one especially for the children. And the beautiful voices of the KDS choir singing carols led by guitarists Paul Calapre and Roland Valdez completed the Christmas celebration.
